Our philosophy

In Argentinean tango, yesterday meets today. We respect tango's roots and also strive to integrate modern influences into the dance. Our aim is to teach tango as a living dance and thus encourage the development of creativity and individuality. And we always keep one very important element in mind: the joy of tango!

How we teach
Our goal is to allow beginners to dance freely already in the first lesson. We want to make the essence of tango, an improvisational dance, tangible, and to teach the basics required for this. In doing so, we discover the qualities of the very different, but equally important, roles of women and men.
In the intermediate and advanced classes, we systematically work through more difficult sequences and show possibilities for incorporating them creatively into your own dance. Improving the quality of your movement and your expression as a dancer is always emphasized.
Clean and elegant technique, communication in the couple and the interpretation of the music; these aspects are essential for moving together in a harmonious and enjoyable way. The learning process requires individual corrections, which are possible thanks to the small class sizes. A clearly structured lesson plan and warm-up exercises are matters of course.
